hello all I’m about to put up my motorized ku system. I want to get a c band system but am I really missing out on a lot of content without having one? Will KU suffice my programming needs? I’m into wild feeds and sports backhauls. Thanks for your input.

In 98 from what I remember radio shack sold directv and rca made the receivers. You can get it all installed for free with a contract or get a do it yourself kit

Hello...looking to get the amiko a3 receiver. What's the verdict on it good or bad?

That receiver is a doorstop no good anymore. Get yourself an amiko nano receiver with a vbox you will be happy. You can probably use that receiver as a dish mover but other than that it's no good and cannot decode channels like MPEG 2 and 4.

They put all their money in cell phones...bad idea. Nobody buys cell phones at rat shack when they can go to a home store and get better care and customer service.

I am trying to aim my dish and all I get on the receiver is the signal strength. What's odd is when I point the dish to any location I get a strength. I an not getting any signal quality what do I have to do it get the quality up? Posted Via The SatelliteGuys Reader App!
