    Skew Matters ? Just for grins, I played with the skew on the 83w LNB. I found I could raise and lower the quality of the NBC News Channel test pattern by changing the skew. With NBC at 94 %, RTN was lost on the Coolsat 6000 with a 62% quality. I then reduced the skew which lowered the quality...

    For info: Threw up another 1.2 meter Channel Master on 83w with a $9.00 LNB. Nailed it on the second try. 72% on Coolsat 6000 Looks like 1.2 may be minimum for reliable reception? Same dish with SNH-031 gives 94% on 123w with the Same receiver....
