Magnetic declination can move up to 1 degree per YEAR depending on your area. You said that dish was originally installed 30 years ago? You need to find out what the declination is in your area NOW, and reset your dish for that.

Are you absolutely POSITIVE that the pole is level North-South and East-West? Hard to tell from your photo, but seems like it's leaning. Maybe an optical illusion, but we need to know for SURE.

We have no information to go on, you haven't told us anything about your setup. Where you are located, what receiver you have, how it's all hooked up, name of dish, what sort of lnb or lnbF you are using. Also, have you EVER installed a system before?

Why do you keep saying this? The receiver does NOT KNOW what satellite it's pointed at. IF you are really pointed at 105w and scanned in with the listing for 105w, then re-scan without moving the dish at all using a different satellite in the list, say 135, it'll then show 135 with channels...

FTA is dying off, likely due to streaming being so easy. It's a lot of work setting up and maintaining satellite equipment, and now with 5g also using C-band, might not be worth it for many people to even try. Old dishes that are worth restoring are also getting quite rare now.

You HAVE to do an inverted dish for a sat that low to the horizon, but even so as stated, ground noise is likely going to wipe out any signal, unless you use a much larger dish. Then you might have a chance.
