    switch info is in there, dunno if it works yet. i know that 1- 8by works, but i have yet to hook the rest in. i didnt check sat list , i didnt think of it. i saved my settings and put them in as soon as i upgraded.

    there is a new firmware out, i am messing with it now . old problems are that it doesnt play well with switches in series. we will see if it was fixed. Also the lnb settings on the old firmware worked for stacked lnb, but it didnt scan them right. so that is also something worth looking at.

    The coolsat 5k and 6k were legendary in their blind-scanning, are we looking at the same class / caliber of blindscan here? It is starting to look like it. edit- i also loved the way they deleted channels, smooth and easy to do.

    is there a danger here? are we about to lose our tv cause everyone will be converting? a quick search does not show many boxes that can do these, but a pc card that does some. Edit, on the other hand, there are many ways to encrypt so whats the difference anyways.

    I know this isnt my question to answer, but i do have an answer for me- that answer to your question is yes AND Both, c-band 5150-5750 and KU FSS lnb (old dishnet linear lnb) 10750-13850, i believe, someone jump in if the 13850 is wrong. they are all i use.
