    [Sonicview] Sonicview SV-4000 Editor?

I'm looking for the channel editor for a Sonicview SV-4000. Anyone still have the software?

OTHER free pickup only sunrise fl

The DVB-S receivers are still good for most music/radio channels. I use a VS Xtreme in my workshop for music on 103w.

OTHER Using a rotator motor for my 3' HughesNet dish

I've been using my STAB120 for 10 years with my Fortec 120cm without issue. It has been 100% reliable. Before that I had a Motec knockoff that lasted only 2 years.

    OTHER Digipower SG-2100 Replacement ?

You could also try a different power supply - even a slightly larger amperage. 12v 2A. Also, try moving the dish with only 13v by changing to a vertical channel on a different satellite.

    OTHER Dual C-band Feedhorn

The short answer is yes. If you have two signal meters to tune in simultaneously and can see realtime changes between both polarities, go for it.

    OTHER Splitter Question

Ya, the first thing I saw was the same splitter which I had tried for a similar thing, but instead of a splitter, it would only work as a combiner.

    OTHER Splitter Question

I just re-read the post. I think Titanium is right.

    OTHER ACM Receviers

You can add the receiver I use: X2 M1HD+ to your list It is ok as a receiver and plays the MC channels very well. You can't manually add PIDS if you wanted to add the Ku music channels on 103w. How good does it sound now? Also, the power supply is inadequate to move a H2H motor. I use it with a...

OTHER European dish in north america

The down side to a fiberglass Channel Master is they are difficult to motorize. You can add a polar mount, if you can find one. I added a pipe shim to a STAB HH120 and used that, but ended up just putting back my Fortec 1.2 which works great.

    OTHER pipe adaptor

The tripod J masts used by HughesNet in the US and Xplornet in Canada are 2 3/8". A very solid mount.

    OTHER Analog KU Band

I'm using a Motorola DSR 4500x commercial receiver to receive analog CSPAN on 131w. I don't know of any other hybrid models that do MPEG2 and analog, but being a commercial receiver it can only be programmed for 1 channel at a time.

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

Update - Jan 2018 Ok, I got the iBrave STB a few weeks ago and despite whatever the ACM/VCM capabilities, it does not detect the MC channels on 125w. It seems like a decent receiver - has nice remote and good interface, excellent picture, but doesn't get MC, so I don't know what ACM/VCM the...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

I've given up on the M1HD. It is buggy or under-powered or whatever. I've also given up on buying the M1HD+. I would have ordered one but the ebay listing failed to list Canada as a country available for shipping. I contacted them and they said they would add it but didn't. If I was in somewhere...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

I'm now pretty sure it is not a signal level problem. I took put my Cband LNB in the center position today (it was a sidecar to a prime focus Ku). Signal is higher now - 70% Quality with perfect BER and eventually it went into its glitchy cycle. I'd be interested in trying some other firmware...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

I have been seeing the cyclical breakup again today with good weather, 59% quality and perfect BER. I wish my AI S2 meter could see the signal. Putting the meter on 4180 V - the closest to LOCK to 4140 V - The signal and CNR is solid 9.8 I'm guessing that the box is the problem - maybe it...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

The M1HD with a fan and seemingly better firmware is still glitching out sometimes for a period and then comes back. Quality level is between 52 and 55 due to the terrible weather outside. Sometimes it glitches for a while even when signal is higher and has perfect BER. Tomorrow should be better...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

All done and working. I put a CPU fan on the top of the case and it was still getting choppy after a few minutes so I put an older firmware from Aug 20 2015 and now it is perfect. Listening to Tool now!

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

I think its more of an overheating issue - I'll review the older threads on this unit but most likely add a fan. I never really used this thing before - not for more than 30 mins. I bought it new on ebay and it had an over voltage issue on Ku vertical - making it unable to get Ku vertical, so...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

Update on the "barely playing..". I just found that if I bump the dish out of point and it breaks up, it won't come back. If I power off and back on it works perfectly, even at a lower quality rate. I am so happy! Thanks - that reminds me I have to renew my SatGuys membership. It expires in a...

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

Wow, that's insane! I had an original M1HD, not the plus version in a parts box. Fired it up and bingo! Scanned in and played MC channels. Just barely playing with 62% quality. Crazy. Thanks for answering my post.

    OTHER Receiver for ACM audio

I've been looking for an inexpensive receiver to get MC channels on 125w. I saw this on ebay but am unsure if the ACM reference is for an eye patch solution and not for ACM audio. Whatcha think? H.265 ACM DVB-S2 Digital Satellite Receiver Dual Dish Tuner IPTV LAN Youtube PVR | eBay I don't...

    OTHER X2 M1HD Firmware?

I took a ride on the Internet Wayback Machine and got March 2016 firmware - which is cool. Anyone have anything else to try just in case? Thanks

    OTHER X2 M1HD Firmware?

The X2 website links to the M1HD firmware are broken. Does anyone have firmware for this unit? I just fixed the STB I ordered last year - it was putting out 15.5 volts or so on vertical polarity, making it impossible to get vertical channels. I tossed it in a recycle pile for a year until...

    AMIKO Amiko A3 Owners Thread

The pickings are slim for currently available and reliable boxes. Most people here like the XSquared X2 HD M1 or M1+. Some of the others that people here were trying out here and were generally stable and decently capable but have been excommunicated and are not to be discussed here due to their...

    OTHER ICECRYPT S3750CHD Satellite Receiver

I really liked the A2 with the final firmware. I think that in the end it was the most reliable STB I've owned. I didn't think that with earlier firmware. I was pretty mad that I bought it days before the A3 was released and my initial complaints were met with - you should have waited a week and...
