    My understanding == THIS IS NOT JTAG! this is a simple serial cable -- OK, not so simple, but a serial connection. The cable and drivers listed in the posted thread do the job. The Yugo book will not help you repair your Rolls Royce.

    I believe the mini plug is too short on this cable, so it will NOT plug all the way in and will not work. Best to TRY to order one from SatalliteAV. I searched for two weeks and did not find one anywhere else. If I could take pictures and post, I would.

    Note that the A?V plug is non-standard -- longer than most at parts stores. I have not had a problem with HDMI on my boxes.
