Possible TEGNA Verizon FIOS contract dispute.

DISH has a pretty good customer base in the rural areas of WNY and the lower income areas of the city and immediate suburbs. Its the cheapest of the linear TV alternatives. As you said FIOS has good penetration north and south of the city in the more affluent suburbs. According to this...

    Hockey Blackouts?

If I recall correctly, DirecTV has a different contract with MSG than TWC has. As a result the blackout rules are different between the providers. Sabres exclusivity with MSG/TWC is so tight now here in Buffalo that we don't even see the replays of Ranger (or Rangers in 60 for that matter)...

KHL Game Blacked out on MSG Buffalo?

Program Guide shows KHL SKA St. Petersburg vs. Dinamo Riga. Instead we get NY Rangers and Winnipeg in SD. Is the Sabres contract with MSG that restricted that they can't show a hockey game from another continent? Crazy!
