As has happened for the last week or so. Once it got dark, Nasa popped in just above threshold on the Azbox. Temperature hasn't dropped off all that much down about 5 degrees from the daytime high of the low 40s.

Thanks for the suggestion. 3740V on AMC-1 comes in just fine. I notice no improvement moving a few clicks. I will try the F/D adjustment and see what happens. I tried adjusting the F/D ratio slightly with no improvement. Also tried the skew slightly again no improvement.

If I'm reading correctly you are looking for RTV on 3800? It doesn't seem to be as strong as 4080 and you will probably want to fine tune on 3800 for best reception. After the Galaxy-15 fly-by they will set levels back to where they had been the last few months. Hopefully things will be better because the problem this past Sunday (IMO) was most likely equipment problems on the ground. Good Luck! Phil

They restored signal by going to 1138.5 instead of the usual 1193.5 L-band frequency. I didn't find that out until much much later in the evening! Phil
