I tried a C/Ku LNBF on my 7.5 foot Winegard. C was great...Ku not so much. My 1.2 meter CM/Primestar way out performs it.

My 10ft is up 6 feet to the mount, & my 7.5ft is up a little over 7 feet to the mount.

It's wierd, some combo mode stuff works & some doesn't on my 4200. I wish I still had my DTE-7150. May have to get another one.

Yup, not sure if the problem is in the Toshiba or the Venture. Since I'm replacing everything it won't matter, but I'm still going to troubleshoot it first & keep the good parts. My 7.5 footer also has a Venture & it's still going strong. Good thing or I'd have NO C-band right now! :D

Could be. There was just a black screen though, when I flipped through the channels & no sound. DMX should have played music, since this 4200 gets all the FP/ZK stuff. Unless it's drifted far enough for a lock, but not enough to actually get the sound maybe?

I connected my DSR 4200V to my fixed dish that I used to use for HITS, and although I haven't moved the dish to 125 yet (the receiver is programmed for a mux of tunes there) this morning the signal lock light was on! :eek: Something must have appeared there, since it wasn't locked on a signal...

This person (IC-323) lives in the northwest. He is not Glen (tvropro). I'm neither taking sides, nor trying to stir anything up, but this person bought a receiver from me, and I did not ship it to Chicago.
