JFOK I'd be tempted to find some metal tubing that the ID is slightly larger than the rusted one OD, cut a length of it, and then sleeve it over the rusted pieces on each end. If you do that, then it should be easy to figure how to fix them together. Crimp? drill holes and bolt?

Try putting a .1 - 50 volt disc capacitor across the actuator motor terminals. The motor they installed may be sparking too much causing count issues due to impulse noise.

From what I've read, some of the 5g repeaters are very small, and hung on power poles in some neighborhoods. So, they aren't always ONLY on normal cell towers.

Anything slightly smaller than the wavelength of the 5g C-band broadcast, Which means about the same size holes as a MESH satellite dish.

Move your dish behind a garage or building, so that the direction you need to point at that sat, is blocked by a wall that blocks the 5g signal. You can probably figure out where it is coming from azimuth-wise, by looking up cell tower maps. Alternatively, you might be able to build a small...

Induced lightning pulse, if strong enough, close enough, and enough metal (wire) acting like an antenna is in the device, that can cause disconnected devices to fry.
