I keep getting a message saying incorrect forum specified when i try to mark all forums read only seems to have started today, but i havent been on as much recently

thanks for the update - unfortunately the quick links in User cp still doesnt function, the function does work within a forum as i previously posted, so no biggie

ok bit more info. Using firefox 3.0.13 or ie8 and the quicklinks from usercp "mark forums read" doesnt work, if i go to amy of the forums the same links does work. By not working i meam nothing happens.

Ive just gone down to one Nvidia gpu recently for that reason, still getting almost 30k a week though, running it and my smp client was pushing up the bills

your right Foxbat the q6700 is a quadcore so at least 3 command line clients, should have noticed that before. I actually run an SMP and nvidia gpu all on the same box it runs quite well. But understand some advise against it. By doing this i gernerally am adding about 12-1400 ppd.

Not sure which os and client you are currently running. If it's windows there's a couple of options. You have 2 cores on a core2 duo so 2 command line clients will work or the smp client SMP client is a little more tricky to set up as you need to install another service too, and security needs...

Been getting good wu's on my smp this week, for the moment the 1920 pointers that take 24 hours are gone, im getting 3062 3065 wu's right now

Foxbat, do you use fahmon ? It does require access to the drive of the machine (reads the log) , so doesnt work for every client but it helps me keep an eye on my gpu client cos it fails many times and has a forced 3 strikes and your out for 24 hours.

ok i now have the smp client running on win 7 64 bit as a service. Will try and get the GPU client working next and then i'll be back to my win xp rates again. Edit: GPU up and running but found the default power plan for win 7 is to sleep after 30 mins, so stopped folding ! Fixed that.

my numbers will drop for a while, till i can take the time to get running in windows 7 as im messing with that a lot right now.

yep im getting between 1000 and 1500 ppd on a evga 8600 gts, but boy am i getting a bunch of EUE's, about every 4th WU completes ok. Running stock factory OC, My temp is good (63-67c) , have a great power supply (650w)
