1080i??

So I was wondering what was up with Voom? I thought they broadcast all of their HD at 1080i. I just recently (night before last) set my box to native instead of 1080i fixed so all of the SD station fill the screen (I have a 4:3 HDTV). I noticed that Cinema 1 through 10 were all being broadcast in 720p as my TV freaks out with that signal. Have these channels always been 720p? As I said above I thought Voom broadcast 1080i. It really is no big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

they are 720p, but my understanding is they either used to be 1080i or will be 1080i again in the future.

Yeah, a month or two ago they needed to change the Cinemas to 720p temporarily until they get something to work. They are supposed to switch them back to 1080i. Who knows when.
