135 W replace SES 22

Thanks for the info houston, by any chance you have one of the new transponder for each satellite you mentioned above maybe you have scanned in? Appreciate it if it's ok by you houston
 
I don't think SES-22 is there yet. Real time satellite tracking for: SES-22

also, those transponders, if on SES-22, would be on the Alaska beam. http://frequencyplansatellites.altervista.org/SES/SES-22.pdf

I don't have footprint maps, not sure how wide the Alaks beam will be, and whether or not it will be receiveable in TX. My guess is that those data transponders are on AMC 4 or 8

this said, it could very well be that those are tests in preparation for using SES-22 once it gets there.

A quick test would be to check with an SDR if there's a beacon at 4197.5 MHz

Unfortunately 135 W is behind my neighbor's trees, so I can't check

Well do this move your BUD to 135 and scan and you will see a few TP’s it hasn’t had any TP’s in years
