I have heard that it is possible to use two dishes rather than one Phase III dish to receieve the signals from the various D** satellites.... (I have many trees around my house and can't find a spot for my dish that will get all of the satellites, although there are many places where I can get most of the signals).

Has anybody done this? Do I need special equipment? Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

Welcome to Satelliteguys!! :welcome

You would need either a 4X8 or 5X8 multiswitch to do this.

Thanks Jason,

I just send the feeds from the two dishes into the multiswitch and then out to the receivers???

Yes. How many LNBs/cables from the dishes do you have?

Right now I have four cables from the one dish, and then I'll have some (2? 4?) from the new dish pointed at the HD satellites...
