2 new SD channels not in the guide?

Yesterday I noticed one of those "advertisement" things in the guide while scrolling and it says "Golden Eagles Broadcasting now on 363" and says hit select to tune

I hit select and nothing
I try to hit 363 and get channel not available

Also noticed this with "Free Speech TV" (yeah...free speech )....ok not to get political on that channel

Whats up with this? I know they're SD channels because I can get GEB on C-Band and they once in a while have something good to watch. Are they putting SD channels (non locals) on 99 & 103 now?

I just tuned into 363 GEB and it's coming in for me. I have a kaku 5lnb.

weird...I only have a Phase III and they're not showing
(need 119 for locals)

If I were you i would try a resend and reset and see if that brings them in. otherwise i would just assume they aren't available on those sats just yet.

Both of these channels are MPEG-4 SD on DirecTV 12. Time to bite the bullet and get HD, Ice!

so do these show up on SD receivers that have a slimline then or just HD?

I don't suspect they would show up on SD receivers even if they could see those sats. Kinda like the HD-only local markets.

These channels are on the HD satellites. They are actually being sent down in 720p and one in 1080i but are not in full screen.

oh ok

seems odd they'd have the advertisement in the guide if you dont have HD access or the slimline...but then again I see an advertisement for Lifetime HD (252) too
