$200 rebate for owned boxes only?

I just went to upgrade my 942 to a 622 and was told the rebate does not apply to leased recievers. My installer buddy says this does not sound right. So, they actually expect me to eat the whole $299? No f'in way, Jose. My 942 is just fine.

Who is right? I can't even locate the rebate details on the website now.

I guess CSR roulette is no joke. I finally found one that knew the truth. What a joke they are. They charged my card, and gave me the RA num for the 942 so hopefully I will be getting my 622 installed on 5/27. Thanks tons, where would we be without this forum?
