211 to 622?

I just had my dish installed and 211 activated 2 weeks ago. I didn't get 622 in the first place because I was not even sure if I can get Dish service due to tree obstructions.

Is it possible for me to return the 211 and get a 622 from my retailer? If so, do I pay $299.99 or $250 (deducting $49.99 lease upgrade fee for 211)? How much would it be if I call Dish for the same thing?

Or, should I just wait for price to go down and buy a 622 myself?

It's a crapshoot. I was allowed to upgrade from an 811 to a 942 a few months ago, but they charged me the full upgrade price and hit me with an extra $5/month premature lease termination fee. They promised me a credit on my account but never gave it to me and I had nothing in writing.
