Other than size and color, not really. Both have identical functionality.

I could not get the 21 Remote to work with a plain 211.

The 211K works with the portable Dish for tailgating.

I actually think the regular 211 works with the Tailgater now also.

I had a customer we upgraded from a 211 to a 211K and they would not pay us for the upgrade saying that the 211 now worked with the tailgater and the upgrade was not necessary

The 211K is better for you as it contains vitamin K, which promotes strong signals and a healthy body.
