Further clarification:
The 6.0 remote has two modes. UHF Pro with the chip/key/whatever-you-wanna-call-it on the blue #2 side. And IR-only with it flipped over to green #1.
6.2 and 6.3 remotes have additionally a UHF (non-Pro - Black key) and a TV1-only UHF Pro (Green key with UHF Pro logo) mode. To accomplish this it has multiple keys corresponding to four positions of the switch inside where the key is inserted. TV1 UHF Pro and TV2 UHF Pro are different for the 942/622/722 receivers. These remotes also feature the "Band A/B" switch inside the battery cover, which gives you an additional frequency range to use in case you're in a very crowded area and there are conflicting remotes nearby. Band A, the default, is compatible with the 6.0 frequency.
Bottom line: With a 942/622/722, you need a 6.2 or 6.3 to create a TV1 remote that will control the receiver from another room with UHF Pro. A 6.0 won't work for this purpose but will work fine for the TV2 remote.
