3 LNB Yoke on Dish 500

Is it possible to add a 3 LNB Yoke to a Dish 500 dish? I noticed the eastern LNB would be about 3 inches further out than the standard Dishpro dual LNB. Is this a doable option? thanks for the input

I don't quite follow the question.
What is it you are trying to accomplish, and what 3-lnb yoke are you speaking of ?
... the one from a DirecTV Phase II dish...?

A Dish-500 is -generally- unsuitable for Ku FTA.

I think he is talking about the W plastic yoke that came with the Dish 1000. If you want to pickup 129 with a Dish 500 then you can use the existing Y plastic yoke by letting half of the DP twin lnb hang off the side of the yoke while the other half is held by the screw into the yoke then a DP lnb on the other side of the yoke. Connect them to a DP-21 or DP-34 switch and your in business.
