301 Assistance

We have several receivers in our house, but only one 301, the first one kept going to aquiring signal, then a 5 check, then download program guide, 40 times an hour, dish sent me another one and it has worked for a couple of weeks and now it's doing it. I swapped it with a 311 and it seems to have no problems.

COuld this be a LNB issue or is the 301's not too great ?

make sure you have the latest software for it.
I have no issues with my 301.

Check wiring, signal strength, and connections.
