I admit to being sat. unsavy so be kind. I see that the 322 has two satellite inputs. Does this mean that you need two inputs for the dual tuner to work? or is this just an option and you only need one. If it matters, I'm a dish network customer.

You need 2 different inputs for it work as a dual tuner and each input must go back to a multiswitch or twin/quad lnb. You can't just put a regular splitter in there.

I think it will work as a single tuner with only 1 line attached. Anyone confirm?

According to DISH it will not work correctly with only one input connected. Jcubby if you already are a DISH customer you can't get a 322 so plan on two 311's.
