I am doing a poll on what voltage you are using to power your C-band dish actuator? 24V or 36V?

Heavy Duty or Standard Duty Actuator?
How many inches?
Also what receiver are you using?

voted once

24V on both big dishes

receivers pushing them
DSR-922 = 24V Von Weise 24 inch HD 10 ft. Odem mesh
GI 450I = 24V SuperJack 18 inch SD 7 1/2 ft. Unimesh
GI2410 ( not currently being used but pushes at 24V)

you will have to edit your poll
Ice pushes his by hand and others are stationary

Am using 36V here when I mess with it.

36vdc.
Use a 24"H/D Superjack on a 2.7M (8' 10") one piece alluminium solid dish.
Use a stand alone Motech VboxII to drive it.
Also a have fitted a lighter duty 18" Actuator for ellevation. For Inclinded sats. and tweaking with a second VboxII to drive that.

I voted 24v, I'm using a DSR920 with my main C-band mesh dish, being driven by a 24" US Electronics Heavy Duty actuator. On my secondary fiberglass dish, I'm using a Toshiba TRX-2200, driving a 24" Superjack Heavy Duty actuator with 36v. Both dishes are 10'.

Dish: 3.8 meter Unimesh.

Actuator: Heavy Duty, Thompson Saginaw 24" (18 years old still going strong)

Receivers currently in use: Motorola DSR 922, Pansat 2700A. I think the 4DTV has a 24 volt output, never measured it.
