4K Joey

Will it replace the current Joey in the line up, or be positioned (and priced) as a premium?
Can't see it replacing the Joey. It will be interesting to see how Dish markets it -- I could see it being a premium offer (for now), although they don't really do that with any equipment nowadays, do they ? Well, as far as new customers go, they don't have much restrictions in what they will give away.

Just to get clarification, there has been discussion about this. Is the Hopper 4K capable, as far as technical specs? If not, Why not, if so, what is required for it to be capable of transmitting the 4K?

Thank you for clarifying Hall. I have a tendency to use the wrong word... But hopefully I got the point across.

If someone needs 4k from Dish, just get a 4k Joey and swap locations, if necessary. I'd guess that someone who has a 4k TV probably has more than one TV and will already have a Hopper/Joey setup.
