How heavy is 500+ compared to 500? Is it possible to replace an old 500 mounted on roof (well, not really roof, it's screwed on the eaves) with a 500+? Are they about the same weight and size? Can the same mounting be used and just dish/lnb be replaced? I remember I read somewhere that superdish has some "wind" issue if mounted on roof, how about 500+?

The 500+ is alot larger than a 500. It is only about 2" smaller than the superdish, but it does use the same size mast as a dish 500. The 500+ does come with a set of struts I would reccomend they be used.
