522 Slow Response

An electrical storm knocked out power to my 522 DVR for only a few seconds, but now, it takes several seconds for it to respond to buttons depressed on either of the remote controls (1 or 2). In addition, the program now periodically freezes for a second or two while watching.

Is there any way to restore?
 
Yep, call dish and tell them what happened, they will either RA the receiver and send you another or schedule a service call to diagnose it and replace it.
 
Looks like with the "DISH'n It Up" promotion, I can get a replacement 522 for $49. Is there a catch?
