I have my Dish 6000 box running RGBVH to a crt projector.
Trying to hook up my vcr (jvc 9911U) to the 6000, I can't get any signal to the vcr and tried using SD mode. I want to record regular channels- Not HD.
When I switch from HD, screen goes blank when SD mode is selected. Neither signal goes to the vcr.
Any ideas why?

The screen will go blank on your CRT when you choose SD. You need to also feed your pj an S-Video signal and switch to that input. Make sure your VCR is tuned to a "line in" input or you won't see anything. I'm assuming you are sending the Composite signal to the VCR?

My projector isn't setup for a S video signal, just the RGBHV
Yup, composite to vcr
Oh well, Thanks
