I have a Dish Network 6000 reciever and it will not downconvert the HD pak
channels. It does downconvert the ten voom originals on either S-Video or
composite. Anyone with a 6000 have this problem? What might be causing it?

Modules

Yes I have both modules installed. On HD pak channels I hear the audio but
the screen is blank.

Have you tried the good old power cord reboot already? It could just be a funky state that the 6000 is in.

I have my composite video going through a modulator to the rest of the house, and it works fine on the HD pack channels. That's very strange.....

Mine works, I have it connected to an older 27" analog set and I have no problems with it, but I am using composite as my set does not have S-Video, but I am feeding the S-Video into a DVHS deck for recording and it works just fine.

No problem with HD pack and S-video out here. I can' think of anything that would selectively affect some HD channels but not others if it were a hardware circuit or cable problem. I second Cyclone's suggestion of a power cord reboot, then call Dish if that doesn't work.

If I remember right, do you not have to hit the button between HD and SD, it has been a while since I had the 6000.
