622 Sound synch problem

Okay, I've got the 622 hooked up to one TV via Component and HDMI. The HDMI is actually a DVI cable with a HDMI converter going into the 622 receiver. I've got optical audio going from the 622 to my surround sound receiver.

The problem is the video comes through a split second BEFORE the audio. The only way I can correct the problem is to set the audio to PCM only, but then I lose the Dolby Digital sound.

I've tried everything. It happens on both component and hdmi inputs. The threads I've searched for on here come up with problems with the audio coming through before the video. But on my system, it appears as if the video is coming through faster than the audio.

Any ideas?

Im sure youve tried this but what do you have set on 6.1.7 Tv1 audio ? HD or SD ? if you swap that does it help ?

Is i also only HD that's out of sync or both sd and hd ?

6.1.7 is set to HD. I swapped it to SD and the problem persists.

Also, the SD channels ARE in sync. (Had to find a channel to test it on. Who watches SD anymore?!)

You might be able to set your receiver (audio) to compensate for this. Check your manual.

Already checked that. My audio receiver has no such option.
