I currently own a 942 and plan to upgrade to the 622 in April. While I know that programs saved on the 942 cannot be transferred to the 622, I'm wondering whether it will be possible to keep the 942 hooked up to my TV through an auxiliary input (though not activated) for the purpose of watching shows saved on this machine. Thanks in advance.

I just disconnected the satellite input, did a reboot and I can get to the DVR to play back programs. The only thing this one is activated.
