721 Front AUX Input and DVR

The 721 manual is silent on the issue, but as some know, the 721 has a front AUX input. I was wondering if when feeding an input into the front and haveing the 721 turned to channel 0, can you use the DVR functions on that channel?

NO, it only passes through the signal from say a vcr,dvd player, etc. No dvr functions on that input.
