721 problems

Has anyone had issues with the 721 after the 321 software update?

Ie. when changing channels - the screen turning black and it comes up with channel 77 and then pretty much locks up?

Or see some chinese/japanese/junk characters near the date and time in the guide?

I've had other issues, since the new update that "broke" my 721, but that is not one of them!

It's to the point of your push a button and the whole system locks. Last night I was not even touching anything and it locked which had to do the 7th or 8th (maybe more) hard restart.

I noticed last night that my recorded programs may be there one time and the next time they are NOT there and I have 90 hours of recording time.

Does that sound like a hardware issue to anyone?
