811 and Clock

I've noticed recently that the clock on my 811 consistently gets behind about 15-20 minutes if I turn it off while watching something OTA. Is this a bug in the software? Once I switch to a Dish signal for a few minutes the clock on the guide instantly updates to the correct time, but anytime I'm using my OTA antenna the clock gets wonky again. Any ideas?

Yes, that's a bug in the 811s with P3.34. There is not time update while using the OTA tuner.

speaking of clocks; how come they don't have time displays on their front? man i miss that from my cable boxes.

Ever since 3.34 it also is back to losing guide data when you leave it on OTA. They had this problem in the past and fixed it, yet managed to break it again!

Yep, my wife told me last night that the clock was behind again on our 811, and that we had this problem a long time ago and they fixed it with a software update back then. I guess they managed to re-introduce a bug that had already been fixed.

E* is so good at doing this. They fix one problem and introduce a new one or bring back an old one. Sigh!
