Hurricane Frances(SW FL location) stopped reception on my pole installation. Have tried "15 second" power button hold>Satellite acquisition screen will NOT go out unless power plug pulled out. Then reappears upon plug in. "sat acquisition screen" shows 105(all numbers), then "default" (all
numbers).
Dish company can not come for three (3) weeks!I know "0".(liberal arts). H E L P please. Barry Snider formerly(b/4 Hurricane CHARLEY) Port Charlotte FL
CHECK SWITCH SHOWS: CONNECTION PROBLEM.811 Receiver

The hurricane spun the dish around on the pole. I revolved it back.

Welcome aboard, and glad you're well off enough to worry bout TV. ;) :)

Here's the story - you either take the crash course in dish repair, or you wait until someone can get to you.

1. You've probably got a blown connector - that would be the connection problem - I say that because if the wind "spun the dish" it would ank on the wires pretty good, eh?
2. It would take a lot of luck to "revolve it back" and hit the mark.

So, the question becomes, are you willing to go for it? You might have to buy some stuff. How mch of a handyman are you? Anybody around that can help?

Also, check and see if your pole is still vertical. The wind my have bent the pole or just knocked it out of vertical.
