811 problem

I have a dish 811 hd receiver. I am trying to communicate with it via a Replay TV Hard Disk Recorder using an IR blaster. Has anyone been successful with thus configuration?

Thanks for the feedback! Still no luck--perhaps I have a defective 811. I know the IR blaster works--I've used it n another config.
