811 remote w/ 721?

Trust me, I searched, but didn't find exact answer.. Is there any way I can use my 811 remote with my 721? I am thinking it's a no, but thought I'd try..

Dish IR remotes will work with the 721, but if I remember correctly, the 811 remote is UHF Pro only.

Right, and the 721 sees UHF (not Pro) or IR.

Thanks. I thought that was the case. How about the opposite? Any way to make a 721 remote control an 811 via the AUX button?

I know I can get a universal remote to control both, but I want to go there as last resort, since I don't want to listen to the wife's b****ing when she has to learn how to use it. She already knows how to use the 721 remote.

The 721's won't but there is a new remote, not sure if it's out yet, that will let you define the AUX device as another Dish receiver.
