Since 13 owns 21, it may have been a concession to move forward with getting some PBS HD...

Also interesting is KAMU (I worked there while in College 20+ years ago) - never thought I'd see it on Dish - guess with the demise of KWBU, Dish went with getting the second station from the market (though only in SD...).

Agreed, although frankly 21 has so many shows in common with 13 that it might be overkill. Neither CV nor FIOS carry 21 in HD either, so there is some overarching reason for the omission.

I didn't know neither CV nor FIOS, the main LI providers, carried WLIW in HD - oddly enough, Comcast does carry it in NJ... go figure...

Wahoo!!! WVIZ Cleveland PBS. Hopefully it is turned on in a week or 2. I've always had spotty OTA reception.

Odd, though, it is only on 61.5, when Cleveland HD locals are on 129 also. Glad I got my installers to leave the 61.5 wing dish when my 1000.2 was put in.

According to RabbitEars.Info, WLIW 21 only broadcasts in 480i SD. That is why no HD is available.

This to me will be a great add since D* has had this for a long time.

This is a great add. College sports season approaching and sometimes KFVS moves some of their programming over to WQWQ.
