921 and IR remotes

Does the 921 have IR compatibility. I want to use my whole house IR system with the 921, but am not sure

1) If it has the capability (Can't find it in the manual)

2) If it does, where is the receiver so I can stick a transmitter over it.

Ya got me... i just tried my 2700 remote on mine and it would not do anything...the uhf works pretty good though...

Yes, the 921 handles IR just fine - I use a pronto remote for mine.
The IR eye is on the bottom right of the front panel, flanked on each side by an IR blaster.
