922 slaved to another box

anyone have a 922 slaved to another box ?
everything seems fine using my Drake 1824 as the master now.
my trouble is i can't get the guide to work. i have the Drake on g-1 3
and the 922 to the same. but the 922 says cannot find channel continuing to search.
but the 922 will get the Arts station fine.
am i missing something ?

Are you connecting both the Drake and the 922 at the same time?

yes
using a DIPLEXER to split the signal

on old Chaparral

seems ok all the stations i paid for work.

You can't use a Diplexer to split a signal from an LNB, not all Freq. are covered on 1 port.
You should be using a High Freq Splitter with Power Pass on 1 Port only.
Something like....

was told these were good
Perfect Vision PVDP3 HIGH GRADE DIPLEXER

but i took it out now it's straight
still the same.
getting 5,11,17 channels ok all V on this sat.

So you are not getting Horizontal Channels?
If so, did you set the Skew in the 922?

They are not "Splitters" the are Diplexers (combiners) used to combine a TV Antenna Signal and Satellite Signal into 1 cable, then later Separated. See the Pic on the web page you posted.

Sometime the Service Provider "forgets" to turn the Guide Option "On" for your account.
