942 Doesn't playback Recorded Event

Hello Everyone,
I have a 942 and it's been working great for about 2 months now. Anyway I recorded a show yesterday and checked it to make sure it way alright. Today I could not play it. The Screen goes back to the last channel or stays on the black screen. I rebooted it and still nothing.
Has anyone else had this happen before? Your help is appreciated. Thanks

I've had this problem on rare occasions. But rebooting always fixed the problem. What does it say in the show description on the DVR menu? I think mine usuallys says something about file i/o error.

Well I did a soft reboot should I unplug it. It does list it correctly in the DVR menu.

Always try a hard reboot (power plug) if a soft one (pwoer button) doesn't help.
