942 help

Just had the 942 installed and it's a mess; keep losing 61.5 and getting all types of error messages such as:

502 and 530. The 530 message states one of the satellite inputs or switches is not connected properly. Normal operation will be adversely affected.

When I do a switch check, it does not show 61.5 and it says everything is okay in the single TV mode. I then run a switch and bring it back temporarily. I cannot get PIP running on the receiver.

Can anyone give me any advice? Im also using a 64 switch

Yeah, call whoever you purchased it from (Dish or Retailer) and tell them to come fix it! It could be a numbr of things...bad switch, cable, connector, ground block or even a bad 942. Did you get these errors while the installer was still there?
