942 Single and Dual mode capability?

I am having a hard time understanding what the 942 can do.

If I have a 942 and a second TV.

1. On the first TV can I record one HD show and watch a second HD show on the 1st TV? Is this dual mode?

2. Then what happens on the 2nd TV, does it see anything or do I need to move to single mode?

Tuners and outputs are independent. Dual mode is what allows this. Single mode keeps both output the same.

Either satellite tuner can record any satellite show.

The 942 has one HD and one SD output. Anything already on the HDD can be viewed on either output.
