A la carte questions

Is it just me or are there some channels you can not get on a la carte, but only come in a package. Basicly I have a fully functioning KU system and currently working on c band now. My girlfriend and I have come up with the list of channels we actually watch. Question is can any channel be purchased for a la carte?

It's not like the old all analog days but there is still a fair amount of a la carte, take a look at the two providers they mite have the channels you watch a la carte.

Ya was going between sites and noticed that some had better selection than others. I cant remember the site, but I found one that was pretty much what I needed. There are only like 10 channels in all that I watch, 4 or 5 locals then maybe 4 or 5 others like USA...etc stuff like that.

In this new age of packages mostly one has to be the smart shopper and do his homework. I have my programing split between SRL & NPS and it works out good. I miss back in the day where everything was ala carte.
