While HD DVD and Blu-ray camps are getting ready for the battle, New Medium Enterprises from China is introducing its own HD disc format based on VMD/EVD technology. It uses traditional red laser, but packs up to 10 layers on one disc with 5GB on each layer. Next week they are going to show a 40GB disc at CeBIT Show. The players will retail for just $150! How about that?!!
