What I would like to know is, If I buy 20 TVs from one manufacturer and each TVs picture looks different right out of the box. Can each TV be calibrated to look exactly the same. I'm referring to an LCD TV.

The reason I ask is I have a Syntax LCD TV and I'm just not able to get a decent picture with me adjusting different settings. If I had someone calibrate it it would look perfect, right?

Now I understand the TV still has its overall potential and that potential may not be better than another TV from another maker. From research on the net I have found that black levels on the Syntax are good. If my set has bad black levels or anything else pertaining to the picture it has to do with the settings, am I right? Or is it no TV even from the same manufacturer are the same?

I hope I'm clear about what I'm asking here.
