Is there a special LNBF for 118.75 that will allow you to feed into the LNB In port on the DISH Pro Plus 1000.2 LNBF? Tried a 3rd party LNBF but it confuses the 622 so have to switch back and forth. I suspect the 1000.2 is looking for a band-stacked LNBF like a Dish Pro but for the specific irregularities of 118.75 (Linear Polarization I think). Anyway, I know it could be done with the DishPro 44 Plus switch, but I'm hoping to not have to add an external switch, or down grade.

I'm trying to avoid having to avoid buying a dual headed (118.75/119) combo LNBF as the DISH Pro Plus 1000.2 LNBF works fine for 110/119 & 129 right now.

you probably will have to use the combo lnb, and not use the 119 port for it to work with the 1000.2 switch, unless some third party makes a fss band stacked lnb.

i was under the impression that you could use a standard 500plus lnb and feed the 118.7 'f' port right into any dpplnb. someone please correct me if i am wrong.

you can, I think the OP is trying to avoid buying a DP DBS/FSS Dual Band lnb.
seems that the 1000 plus is the best way to go to avoid 2 dishes.

Make sure the port 1D is plugged into the FSS port on your switch.

seems that the 1000 plus is the only way to go to avoid 2 dishes.
Fixed.

Your best option is a 500+ LNBF using the 118.7 port or just replace the whole 1000.2 with a 1000+ and DPP44.

Or, you could use a superdish, inserting a piece of plastic at the right angle into the bandstacked FSS feedhorn will convert it from linear to circular. Interesting discussion here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-ne...34-mad-scientist-strikes-again-poor-mans.html Once you have the dish and LNBF receiving 118.7, run it to the input port on the 1000.2.
