Adding FTA to existing C/Ku/4DTV

I have an existing C/Ku/4DTV system that's well-tuned and ready to add an FTA receiver. Thinking about the Pansat 2500A receiver. Can I use the 2500A as the master and slave my GI450i and DSR905 Sidecar from it (ie: use the 2500A to drive my dish mover actuator? Or should I leave things as they are and slave the 2500A? Thanks.
