adding ku band

hi guys. i am going to attempt to add ku band to my bud. i have a 8 ft unimesh dish and have three ku lnbs. two old lnbs in which i dont know if they work and a ku lnb off my ariza 3 ft fta dish i dont use. i have a corotor 2 feedhorn that doesnt work so i was gonna measure the length of the c and ku lnbs on the corotor and strap the ku lnb on the same spot on my existing feedhorn. am i missing anything? will the ku lnb from the ariza work on the bigger dish? the holes in my mesh are small enough. looking at the lyngsat chart i see there are about 250 ku fta and feed channels so i figure it is worth it.
