'Walking Dead': Who Is That Mystery Villain? https://tv.yahoo.com/news/walking-dead-mystery-villain-150108831.html
[Warning: This story contains spoilers from The Walking Dead's fifth season premiere and the comic series the AMC series is based on.]
AMC's The Walking Dead on Sunday pulled back the curtain on season five — and on Gareth, the leader of the camp of cannibals at Terminus — only there's more to the man Rick vowed to kill than meets the eye.

Carol was almost sacrificed instead of this character during ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 3 https://www.yahoo.com/tv/carol-almost-sacrificed-instead-character-171800349.html
Over the years, The Walking Dead has molded Carol (Melissa McBride) from a meek housewife into many people’s vote for “Best Character.” Time and time again she has shown a aptitude for cold calculation needed to survive in a zombie apocalypse. All without losing her capacity for emotion and empathy. Forget the Ricktatorship. Give us a Carolocracy. But this almost wasn’t the case. Recently The Walking Dead’s Greg Nicotero spoke to SFX Magazine about Carol’s original fate. After the death of Sophia, showrunners were struggling with a direction to take Carol’s arc, so they considered killing her off:

Why The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale Was A Nightmare For The Cast - http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...eason-6-Finale-Was-Nightmare-Cast-117257.html
Want to go into The Walking Dead without any idea of what is to come when it returns this Sunday? To stay spoiler-free, we suggest bailing on this article right now.The Walking Dead is going to have a lot of tricks up its sleeve when it returns to AMC this weekend. We already know there are going to be a hell of a lot more walkers than usual and that The Walking Dead even plans to use a time jump at some point. We also know that the finale is going to be devastating, so devastating in fact that it kept Andrew Lincoln up at night. The whole process of receiving the script and knowing what was to come was such a nightmare that he was actually late for work. You can catch the whole story, straight from the horse’s mouth, below. - See more at: http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...ghtmare-Cast-117257.html#sthash.HewoEljj.dpuf

‘The Walking Dead’: 6 Spoilers About the Show’s New Villain http://www.cheatsheet.com/entertain...lers-about-the-shows-new-villain.html/?ref=YF
The Walking Dead will soon return from its midseason hiatus, and the second half of Season 6 is set to be even more action-packed than the first. As long rumored, the show’s biggest bad yet, Negan, is set to make his highly anticipated debut this season. Played by actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the character is expected to be one of the most vicious villains to ever appear on the zombie saga. So who exactly is he? Here’s what we know about him.

One Walking Dead Character Will Probably Never Find Romance http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...acter-Probably-Never-Find-Romance-118017.html
One aspect that is severely lacking in The Walking Dead is romance. Aside from Maggie and Glenn’s seemingly perfect apocalyptic marriage, we haven’t seen much in the ways of hugs and kisses through the show’s six seasons. Then again, with the constant threat of both undead and living creatures trying to tear you apart, I guess love isn’t really on the mind. Now it appears that one character is destined to remain single during his tenure on The Walking Dead: Eugene. Josh McDermitt, who plays the mulleted one himself, recently opened up regarding Eugene’s single existence:

The Walking Dead's Gale Anne Hurd Can't Imagine A Better Punisher Than Jon Bernthal https://www.yahoo.com/movies/walking-deads-gale-anne-hurd-202225142.html
Over the weekend, ComicBook.com had the chance to speak with one of the few folks who have been with The Walking Dead since it first started back in 2010: executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. Hurd was around for Bernthal's Shane Walsh days and she's quite eager to see him take on the role of Frank Castle."I can't imagine a better Frank Castle, to bring the Punisher to life on Netflix," Hurd says. "I just can't. I saw Jon while he was shooting last year, and he's an incredibly committed actor. He's able to find the sort of darkness that Frank Castle needs. Depending on who was drawing Frank Castle at the time, he also can look very much like some of the Frank Castles. I love the Garth Ennis version and I haven't read the script so I'm not quite sure where they're going, but I know in terms of that dark, grounded and gritty Frank Castle that no one is better."

The Walking Dead Showrunner Says Hilltop Community Is Very Different From Alexandria https://www.yahoo.com/movies/walking-dead-showrunner-says-hilltop-193708986.html
Now that The Walking Dead on AMC has made the transition from being a largely nomadic show to one that exists inside of a settlement with other characters around, it's easy to assume that most settlements will be more or less the same. Not so, according to executive producer Scott Gimple, who talked with EW about the introduction of the Hilltop Community, a staple of the comics that be introduced in the second half of Season Six."The Hilltop has had a completely different path than Alexandria or Rick’s group," Gimple said. "It’s just a whole different experience of the Apocalypse and that has resulted in a very, very different place than Alexandria."

Is This the Real Reason The Walking Dead Keeps Trying to Bump off Glenn? http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood...ason-6-episode-9-no-way-out-glenn-almost-dies
If you haven’t already watched Sunday’s mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead then, woof, have you got an intense hour of television coming your way. We’ll be discussing some specific scenes from Season 6, Episode 9, “No Way Out” in the post below so in order to protect yourself, here’s a topical spoiler warning.Did you really think they were going to do it? Did you think The Walking Dead would spend eight or so episodes of Season 6 pulling Glenn and Maggie apart only to bump one of them off just as they were about to re-unite? Well, if you did, the show gave you ample cause for alarm. As Glenn heroically tried to draw the zombie horde away from a pregnant Maggie and her precarious perch, he wound up, once again, seemingly drowning in a sea of hungry zombies. Having gotten their attention by firing his gun into the swarm and then leaving himself defenseless by running out of bullets, Glenn disappeared from view sliding down the wall of Alexandria as the zombies overtook him.To drown in a pile of zombies once in a season may be regarded as a misfortune; to do so twice looks like carelessness. Of course, Glenn didn’t die. He was saved in another unbelievable way when Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl arrived with all the assault weapons you could dream of. Glenn will live another day. . .for now.

'The Walking Dead' finale will be ‘different’ from what we’ve seen so far http://www.businessinsider.com/walking-dead-season-6-finale-will-be-different-2016-2
Warning: There are some spoilers ahead if you're not caught up with "The Walking Dead" along with some speculation for future episodes. The mid-season premiere of "The Walking Dead" set the stage for where the rest of season six will go. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) told his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) he has grand plans to make a better, new world. But don't expect it to be sunshine and rainbows from here on out.Just because Alexandria is free of walkers, and Carl appears to have made it through a life-changing accident, another larger threat is on the horizon. When I spoke with "The Walking Dead" executive producer and make-up supervisor Greg Nicotero ahead of the mid-season premiere he told me the show's finale was almost finished, and it's an episode he can't wait for fans to see. "It’s the 15th episode of 'The Walking Dead' I’ve ever directed and I can say with 100% confidence that it’s my favorite episode I’ve ever shot," Nicotero told Tech Insider. That's high praise from the man who just directed the shocking mid-season premiere which was praised by both critics and fans.

The Walking Dead: One Character May Be In Serious Trouble http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Walking-Dead-One-Character-May-Serious-Trouble-119737.html
Because there was so much gore and death in “No Way Out” I would normally assume that the next episode is going to be free of any character deaths. However, the lineup for Chris Hardwick’s aftershow Talking Dead was just revealed, and it’s making me think they might send another character to meet their maker real soon. Comicbook.com is reporting that tonight’s guests for Talking Dead will include two actors from the show: Danai Gurira (Michonne) and Austin Nichols (Spencer Monroe). As we know, when big characters bite the dust in the series, they’re typically a guest on Talking Dead immediately afterward as a final goodbye. While Michonne definitely doesn’t have anything to worry about, the inclusion of Austin Nichol’s Spencer makes me think the sole Monroe survivor might die tonight.

The Walking Dead: 6 reasons Glenn is the next major fatality http://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/1114245/the-walking-dead-season-6-episode-11-recap
Why The Walking Dead's Glenn is totally the next survivor to die a barbaric deathSunday's night episode of The Walking Dead took our favorite survivors of the zombie apocalypse into new territory — figuratively and literally — when Rick and the gang ventured into a new community and offered to act as hired guns for it. In full disclosure, there are potential spoilers ahead — if you haven't watched last night's episode yet, avert your eyes and attention. Now, getting into it. Last week, the Alexandria crew gained a temporary new resident when Rick and Daryl's scouting trip yielded a man named Jesus. By the end of the episode, Jesus burst into the room on a postcoital Rick and Michonne. The intel he delivered to the group led to Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Glenn and Abraham deciding to take a road trip to what he said was one of a network of communities, Hilltop Colony. And, well, their arrival there foreshadows a major impending tragedy for the group, and specifically, for Glenn. Here's why.

NEW "WALKING DEAD" TEASER SPELLS TROUBLE FOR [SPOILERS] http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/new-walking-dead-teaser-spells-trouble-for-spoilers
SPOILER WARNING: The following clip contains spoilers for the next episode of "The Walking Dead.""The Walking Dead" viewers know about Rick's plan to preemptively strike against Negan and his crew, but a new tweet from Netherland's Fox affiliate promoting next week's episode shows that things won't go exactly as planned.Carol and Maggie apparently strike off on their own and end up in the Saviors' clutches. Rick learns this the hard way when, after he gets the drop on one of Negan's men, a voice comes over a walkie-talkie and leverages his friends' names to get the upper hand.

The Walking Dead: Maggie, What Are You Doing? http://www.tvguide.com/news/the-walking-dead-maggie-what-are-you-doing/
Maggie (Lauren Cohan) confirmed her pregnancy on The Walking Dead back in November when she still thought Glenn (Steven Yeun) was dead. She saw a sonogram of the baby during last week's episode. She knows she's pregnant. She seems like she'd be a good mother. Lauren Cohan told TVGuide.com this week that Maggie is ready for this, saying she'll be "as fierce and protective as any mother could be." But in this coming Sunday's episode she's not acting protectively. She's acting reckless by going along on a mission she should have sat out.The Walking Dead: Maggie pushes things forwardThe weirdest part is that very few other survivors seem to be concerned about Maggie, either. In fact, the only person who raises concerns is one of the last people you'd think. It's crazy. Maggie's tough, but she's not invincible. So why is she acting like she isn't responsible for her unborn child's life?

'Fear the Walking Dead' Boss Dave Erickson Talks Season 2, Swimming Zombies https://www.yahoo.com/tv/39-fear-the-walking-dead-39-boss-1378293981413430.html
Warning: Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 storyline and character spoilers ahead. If the “No Safe Harbor” message doesn’t make it clear, the spooky skeleton shadow hanging over the yacht in the new key art for Fear the Walking Dead’s second season seals it: The apocalypse is in full swing now, and that means nothing but amped up danger ahead.Yahoo TV talked to FTWD showrunner Dave Erickson for a preview of the new season, and, as was teased in the Season 1 finale, Strand’s yacht is going to be a major factor in Madison (Kim Dickens) and Travis’s (Cliff Curtis) plans. Erickson also talks about Maddie’s backstory, the (possible) return of Tobias, and settles that question about whether or not zombies can swim.

We May Be Worrying About the Wrong Walking Dead Hostage Situation http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/03/carol-maggie-saviors-hostage-tara-the-walking-dead
Before we begin: this post contains significant spoilers from Season 6, Episode 12, “Not Tomorrow Yet.” Run away, like Rosita should from skeevy, two-timing Abraham. Rosita, you are too good for a man with a flattop. In The Walking Dead, does anything ever go according to plan? The correct answer is no. Not at the farm, not at Woodbury, not at the Prison, and certainly not at the Saviors’s compound, where we find out Maggie and Carol have been taken hostage. Oh, the horror! Now, it will no doubt be difficult to get Maggie and Carol back—it should take one to two episodes, at least—but somehow, we have a feeling Rick and his group will save the day. They have a significant amount of men and heavy arms, and the Saviors, badly wounded from the attack, are most likely using Carol and Maggie as a last desperate measure—“you drop your arms and stop raiding our compound, we give you back your people.” The Saviors will still need time to launch a formulated attack.

8 Reasons Maggie Will Die on The Walking Dead's Tragic Season Finale http://www.popsugar.com/entertainme...-Dead-Season-6-Finale-40575893#photo-40575893
The countdown to the season six finale of The Walking Dead is officially on. You should brace yourself, as we might be in for the most heartbreaking episode of the series to date. We've already prepared for the impending arrival of Negan, the show's baddest villain yet. Something that's a little harder to prepare for, though, is the death of one of our favorite characters — mostly because we're not quite sure who will die. For quite some time, we've had a feeling it would be Glenn; he is, after all, the person Negan kills in the comics.
Now, though, with a growing sense of dread, we're really starting to believe Maggie might be the one to go. Keep reading for all the evidence that's stacked up against her, then check out how the cast looks in real life.
