Ummm, Dish Network just raised rates BIG TIME for many folks. Dish has raised the prices way more than enough to cover Tivo's cost. Time for Dish to pay up. If Dish still tries to fight this after raising the rates as much as they just did and tries to fight this and ends up having DVR's shut off then Dish is just plain crazy and greedy. Of course, we seen this decision before and Dish still did not shut them off.
